jurneez Institute For Better Living, where the Dogs run wild and the wild run fast.

Pate - Vinnie's spiritual offspring - has found a home at jurneez End, a shelter dog that is worth every hair I vac up. He's a protector! And now another rescue, Mya. Little but mighty. My gardens just love them.

The smells of earth and of the flowers

It shall pass, the spring iffy-ness and we will enter the season of summer soon. The birds and insects are patiently waiting for warm weather.

Across the way in the woods I've been watching a Hawks nest. It's been more vocal this year that I ever recall. The activity is relentless and loud. I wonder if the nest is going under attack occasionally. I had a pair of Sharp Shinned Hawks for four years nesting in the back, but they moved on. The hawks across the way are new, I think Broad Winged or Red Shouldered., I'm still pinning it down.

The Red Winged Blackbirds have returned along with all the other migrating birds.

I shall nip and tuck the gardens and later in May head north for some bird watching on the resevoirs.

I have put my ho train table to rest until next winter when I will resume painting the mountain I built.

Sometime, I'll find the time to get back into my glass shop. It's really a good thing I don't have any more interests than I do, I'd really be spreading myself to thin.

Take care and remember to look at the stars.
